We want to thank Bjorn van Toorn (BLOODSIN) for jumping in the last year as a singer, he did an outstanding job. He also turned out to fit perfectly in the band and became a really good friend for all of us. But his time has come to take responsebility in the near future for his new job as a father! We are very happy to announce that his place will be taken by Willem Brus, you might also know him for his work with DEIFECATION (R.I.P.). December 28th 2008 In the gallery-section we've added pictures of our performance at the EHBO festival. October 14th 2008 We are proud to announce that DEATH SQUAD will play at the 9th anniversary of EHBO, the 13th of December at ATAK in Enschede. Headliner is the legendary Dutch Death Metal band ASPHYX. Also playing are Inhume and Carnal Leftovers. www.ehbo9years.nl  September 22nd 2008 Big thanks to all the people who came at our gig at Eucalypta Winterswijk! It was the last gig of Henkie, thanks mate. Huge thanks goes to the other bands and also to Patrick (ex-Disabuse) to give us the opportunity to play at Eucalypta! See you in Januari at the reunion gig of Disabuse!! August 13th 2008 Henkie Hemink takes a break from music! He has decided to lay down the guitar, his interest for music kind of cooled down the last years. So he’s not a part of DEATH SQUAD any more. We wanna thank Henkie for all the good times we had all over the years and we all wish him the best for his future life! We respect his decision but hope he finds his way back to music. He will be missed, but we will continue and we see DEATH SQUAD having a strong and positive future. His job as guitarist will be taken over by Iwan Heskamp (DEIFECATION R.I.P.).  Iwan Heskamp January 7th 2008 New gig confirmed!! First one in 2008!! DEATH SQUAD will be playing the 26th of January at "De Vleugel" NIJVERDAL HOLLAND. January 1st 2008 Happy New Year to everyone! We hope all of you have a safe and great new year! November 14th 2007 Would like to thank everyone who showed up at the CARPE NOCTUM TOUR. Especially those involved in the organisation (Niels). Also a big thanks to our brothers of Victimizer and Apocrypha for making the mini tour such a fucking fun time! Our best wishes go out to Sacha from Victimizer who was involved in a terrible accident at work, they were scheduled to headline the show in Oss with us, but had to cancel due to the injuries. We've unfortunately had to cancel our gig in “The Cage” in Amsterdam on the 13th July but it has been rescheduled to the 28th of December 2007. Our german brothers of SABIENDAS will support us! That's all for now. We will keep u posted!! July 9th 2007 Well here is some news Ronny Meinders is no longer the drummer of DEATH SQUAD. It’s regrettable that circumstances dictate that things must end now. We thank him for all those years of blasting mania in DEATH SQUAD and we wish him the best of luck in whatever he’s going to do!. Leon will take over the drums again and vocals will be handled by Björn van Toorn of BLOODSIN. This line-up will tour together for the first time during the CARPE NOCTUM TOUR, to begin in October. The full line-up for all upcoming gigs will be as follows: Björn van Toorn, vocals Leon Brink, drums and vocals Barry Geerligs, bass Henk Hemink, guitar Eric Heuverhorst, guitar May 24th 2007 AFTERSHOCK REPLACED BY APOCRYPHA ON CARPE NOCTUM TOUR. Aftershock decided to cancel the tour due to personal reasons of their drummer, this is a major bummer for us but we have found a quick replacement in WWW.APOCRYPHA.NL. We will c U on tour friends. That's all for now. We will keep u posted!! May 10th 2007 CARPE NOCTUM TOUR 2007 with VICTIMIZER and AFTERSHOCK! Our friends from Victimizer asked us to join them on a tour through Holland. We will be playing 8 shows in the first two weeks of October 2007, the first 4 dates have been confirmed, check the gigs page for details!! May 5th 2007 We will be playing, Saturday the 9th June, again in Eibergen!!. This time in the open air theater together with DEADHEAD, DEVIOUS and others.  April 2nd 2007 Update Wapen Metal Meeting, Eggmountains 23-03-2007. Our gig last week in Eggmountains was again really awesome!! Special thanks go out to Marco for arranging this gig. We will be playing, Friday the 13th July, with Victimizer and the Metal Legends Septuagint at The Cave, Amsterdam. March 10th 2007 We've had a brilliant time last week in Bramsche. Februari 3rd 2007 DEATH SQUAD have just been confirmed to play at the 3rd WAPEN METAL MEETING on the 24th of March supporting ALTAR, FUELBLOODED and ENDYMEARA. Januari 1st 2007 HAPPY NEW YEAR!! November 15th 2006 Update De Kelder, Winterswijk 05-11-2006. To bad not a lot of people decided to show up, but we had a good time over there. Thanks goes out to GILO and CHIRAW!!
